Ideal leg protection for the serious cricketer.

Constructed from tough closed cell foam means better durability and better protection.

Only 2 straps and 3D shape creates a very snug fit and means the pads dont get in the way when running or playing shots.

REVIEWS

  • Aero P2 batting pads. I play at a good standard and have found these pads to be brilliant for T20 however a problem with 50 over matches. The pads are extremely light and fantastic for running between the wicket as they are almost weightless and I like the wrap around feel, however, most of the calf is exposed. They offer good protection and so far I haven't felt a thing, facing bowlers up to 80mph and I have found that the pads have completely stopped my problem last year of playing onto my stumps of my pads. The P2 pads stop this as they are right angled on the inside of the leg. The main problem which, according to Aero is being changing, is that the top of the pad is rigid. The problem this gives you is that the sweep / reverse sweep and leg glance can be a problem and have found since the pads give no flexibility, you can get your hands caught on the pad and effecting the fluency of the shot. The last problem is the strange look. They are slightly radical and be prepared to get a bit of stick wearing them, however letting other players have a go with them usually helps. Overall great pads for T20 and big hitters, however the top of the pads definitely need to change and become flexible to suit the longer format game.connor, scarborough
